I just wanted to touch base and give you some free information you might find useful.
If you have a website or blog, you need to make sure it is updated and complies with the new laws and regulations recently passed by the state of California and the FTC in 2014.
These new laws relate to your website’s privacy policy. There are now specific provisions that you are required by law to have in your privacy policy, as well as having it placed on your website or blog in a “clear and conspicuous” position.
California’s new law affects website and blog owners in ALL states – it doesn’t matter if you don’t live in California. Not complying with these laws after a 30-day warning notice could subject you to a $2,500 fine.
